The next Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show is coming up in Cedar Rapids next month. This popular annual weekend event is held at the Teamsters Union Hall, 5000 J St SW in Cedar Rapids from 8:30-6 on Saturday and 9:30-5 on Sunday. The theme for this year?s event is DINOSAURS! See a full-size 33? replica of the great duckbill dinosaur Tsintaosaurus! Visit vendors selling all kinds of rock and fossil-related merchandise. Enjoy other dinosaur-related displays, demonstrations, silent auctions, educational programs and many activities for children. This event is sponsored by the Cedar Valley Rocks & Minerals Society.
