That's right, roller derby season is upon us in Cedar Rapids. The first bout, against Sioux City, will be at the US Cellular Center (aka the Five Seasons Center if you've lived here a long time). I'm still gathering info on tickets, but this will be to determine interest.

Alright, so here's the plan that I've neglected to lay out until now... I'm thinking we could meet up at Gringo's at 5:30pm, eat some dinner, then head over. I'll find out tomorrow morning if there's any chance of the thing selling out before 6 or 7 and update the group.

I seems like tickets are available, but there's no link to a Ticket Master site. I'm guessing one person buy tickets, then everyone meets and brings ~$10 to grab their ticket and walk in as a group?

That's absolutely right, I forgot to give Monica credit for this idea! BTW, it looks like season tickets (for 7 games) is $60. Still looking into whether individual tickets can be purchased.
