I was one of those Christians who actually read my Bible. That is largely the reason I am not a believer today. Leaving the faith was the most painful decisions of my life, but I have more peace now, and live in much more awe of the world around me!
I love outdoor activities, long-distance biking and running, camping, canoeing, etc. I also am a huge fan of live music, dance, and any other live performance. Lately I've taken up serious photography & am endeavoring to turn my expensive "hobby" into a freelance profession. We'll see!
You can put me down as a "7" on Richard Dawkin's Theism-Atheism scale. While I readily admit that the human race cannot possibly know "all" the facts, let alone one individual, I firmly believe what we know rules out the existence of any "higher power." Everything we learn as a race confirms what is already known & I am more than confident that everything we will learn in the future will point to the same conclusion.
A fantabulous group of people! Warm, animated, diverse, open, honest, sincere, laid-back, accepting...and the men hug each other??? I thought they only did that in church! You guys didn't used to go to church did you?
