Hey folks, some good news -- it doesn't appear that a permit will be needed.  Some plain-clothed cops will be on hand to maintain order, but as long as everyone behaves (the WBC crowd are practiced at yelling but not engaging in violence), things should go well.  There will be a bunch of people in white t-shirts present as a silent protest.

I should mention that dressing up isn't a requirement by any means -- this is mainly to show support for the LBGT members of the community.  More than once, WBC has packed up and gone home when enough FSMers/nonsense-protesters have shown up and stolen their spotlight.

And don't worry Ed, I'm leaning toward protesting continental drift while I'm at it.  ;^)
