I do plan to invite people over soon for a dog play date. For those that are interested, how does Sunday afternoon sound?

...how does Sunday afternoon sound?
Love the playdate idea, but for those of us with flyball-racing dogs, like Lori and me, the whole March 12-14 weekend will be filled with a tournament.

Anyone can drop by to see some local flyball, but bring your earplugs!

I wasn't very clear. How do Sunday afternoons in general sound? Not planning to do this until it is a little warmer and drier.

I would be interested. Sunday afternoons in general would work fine for me.

We would be interested! And Sunday afternoon sounds fine. Were you thinking once a month, every few weeks, every Sunday...? Our availability is spotty in March, but April looks great.

Sunday afternoons in general are probably the best time for us, too. As long as we don't have weddings or client meetings we'll be there! It's so nice of you to host this. If we had a bigger yard we would definitely do it.

Let's do the first dog play date this Sunday afternoon, March 28th, 2pm - 5pm. The address is 4190 Richland Dr. NW, Cedar Rapids. The yard is big enough for the dogs to chase each other around and wrestle. You can also throw balls, or whatever but the yard isn't big enough for really long throws. I will have some coffee and sodas but feel free to bring whatever you want to drink or eat. There will be some muddy areas so expect your dog to get a little dirty.

I waited until today to post this because I wanted to make sure we weren't going to have too much rain before Sunday. Lori, Scott or Rob, fee free to set this up as an actual meet up if you think more people would see it that way.

Odd request here: Take/post pictures. I grew up in a family of dog lovers and since I live alone I don't think it would be fair to a dog for me to have one...it would be alone for much of the time. The result is, I really missing having dogs around. Dogs are fun! Dogs are cool!
